Ahmedabad : The Indian Institute of Management at Ahmedabad (IIM-A) has chosen “India Towards Economic Leadership” as the theme for its “Confluence 2007” event. The theme will attempt to capture the essence of India’s transformation from an agrarian economy to a leading global economy.
The four-day event, which is being held in partnership with the Tata group, will begin Nov 22 at the IIM-A complex here. Influential thinkers, policy makers and reputed management practitioners are expected to participate.
“Confluence 2007” will explore the dynamics of the business environment along India’s path towards economic leadership, highlighting India’s competitive advantages as well as the challenges it needs to overcome.
The event will also hold “Master Plan”, India’s largest business plan competition, “Mousetrap”, an online strategy simulation game, “Livestock”, a live trading game, and “BizQuizitive”, a business quiz.
