Gaza : At least one Palestinian killed and one wounded as Israeli naval boat gunships shelled a Palestinian fishing boat with one missile on the shores of Gaza City on Saturday evening, Palestinian police and medical sources said.
The police of ruling Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) said that Israeli fighting ships opened fire at a Palestinian fishing boat in Gaza Sea and hit it on which two people were there, one killed and the other wounded.
The police sources didn’t explain why the Israeli army ships opened fire at the Palestinian boat. But there was no immediate response to the incident from Israeli army.
On Saturday evening, an Israeli artillery shelling has wounded three Palestinians in northern Gaza Strip town of Beit Lahiya shortly after a group of Palestinian militants fired a homemade rocket from the area at southern Israel.
Two artillery shells have landed on an open space near a residential complex in Beit Lahiya, wounded three Palestinian civilians, one of them was moderately and two slightly.
