Foundations of 11 industrial units costing Rs. 2250 cr. to be laid in next 6 days

Bhopal: Foundation laying and “Bhoomi Pujan” for 11 industrial units involving capital investment of Rs. 2250 crore would be performed during next six days from October 24 to 29 in Madhya Pradesh. The Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan would be chief guest on these occasions.

According to an official Press release Chief Minister Chouhan would perform the “Bhoomi Pujan” for establishment of a textile unit. Involving a capital investment of Rs. 927 crore the unit is being set up by Abhishek Industries (Trident Group) at Budhni. It would provide employment to over 3,000 people.

On October 25, the “Bhoomi Pujan” for Rs. crore readymade garment unit of Pratibha Syntax would be performed in the S.E.Z., Indore. It would provide jobs to over 1400 people. The same day, “Bhoomi Pujan” for a pharmaceutical unit of Med gel Pharmaceuticals would be performed. To be established at a cost of Rs. 25 crore the unit would throw open employment for 124 people. “Bhoomi Pujan” of a Rs. 10 crore mission pharma unit would also be performed in the pharma sector of the S.E.Z, Indore. The same day, the “Bhoomi Pujan” of a drug-manufacturing unit of Symbiotic Pharma would be performed in the pharma zone of S.E.Z. Indore phase-2. As many as 400 people would get employment from the unit involving a capital investment of Rs. 29 crore. Besides, a Rs. 130 crore project of Ippca Laboratories would be inaugurated in phase-2 in the pharma zone of the S.E.Z., Indore. “Bhoomi Pujan” for a Rs. 30 crore unit would also be performed at the Diamond Park, Indore.

Similarly, Bhoomi Pujan would be performed for Rs. 1000 crore works to be carried out by Prozone Liberty International, Indore. These works pertain to commercial infrastructure, hotel, entertainment zone, shopping and infrastructure development. This is joint venture company of Liberty International P.SL.C., U.K. and Provogue India. The MoU for this was signed during the Chief Minister’s U.K. visit.

Moreover, there is a proposal for developing a township over 96 acre on Indore bypass by M/s Hills. The “Bhoomi Pujan” for this would be perfumed on October 26.

On October 29, foundation for first phase expansion scheme of Denim unit would be laid at Mandideep. It would cost Rs. 75 crore. Foundation of another Rs. 32 crore mega project would be laid at Mandideep, which would manufacture T.M.T. round bars through modern technology.

The Chief Minister would inaugurate L.T. Overseas to be set up at a cost of Rs. 82 crore on October 29. The company is famous as Dawat brand rice. The promoter of the company Ashvin Arora visited Madhya Pradesh for the first time to attend the Investors’ Meet in January 2007. It got all the clearances within eight months and is now going into production. It would greatly benefit the farmers growing Basmati rice. ([email protected])
