New Delhi : A Delhi court Wednesday deferred till Oct 22 its verdict on the Uphaar fire tragedy in which 59 people died while watching a film on June 13, 1997.
The criminal culpability of real estate tycoons Gopal and Sushil Ansal and 10 others in the tragedy is to be decided by Additional Sessions Judge Mamta Sehgal, who had fixed Sep 5 for delivering the long awaited verdict.
On Aug 21, she had reserved her judgement after conclusion of arguments by all parties.
