Jaipur : Former India team coach Greg Chappell, along with bio-mechanist Ian Frazer, have been hired for the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) Academy, its chief Lalit Modi said here Monday.
“Chappell and Frazer have been contracted for the RCA academy for three years and they will be based in Jaipur,” Modi told reporters here.
Chappell, the 59-year-old former Australia captain, and Frazer will join as advisors at the academy housed within the Sawai Man Singh Stadium here.
Chappell decided not to renew his two-year contract after it expired this March following India’s first-round exit from the World Cup in the West Indies.
Frazer, who was essentially the bowling coach, also left India along with Chappell.
