Johannesburg : Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka by 33 runs in a Super Eights match of the Twenty20 World Championship of cricket here Monday.
Pakistan made 189 for six wickets in the allocated 20 overs after ebing asked to bat first and then restricted Sri Lanka to 156 for nine in 20 overs to win at New Wanderers Stadium.
