New Delhi : Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Friday telephoned Indian American astronaut Sunita Williams, who is visiting Gujarat, praised her as a role model for Indian children and invited her to New Delhi.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), Manmohan Singh invited Sunita Williams to visit the national capital and meet him.
“He called her a model for Indian children and a source of inspiration for Indian women,” a PMO official told IANS. Williams is on a week-long visit to India.
