Cape Town, Sep 21 (IANS) Asad Rauf of Pakistan and Mark Benson of England will officiate India’s Twenty20 World Championship semi-final against Australia in Kingsmead, Durban, on Saturday.
Former England Test player Chris Broad will be the match referee, Billy Doctrove of the West Indies the third umpire, and Tony Hill of New Zealand the reserve umpire, the International Cricket Council announced here Friday.
In the first semi-final between Pakistan and New Zealand here in Newlands, Daryl Harper and Simon Taufel of Australia will be the on-field umpires, while former South Africa Test player Mike Procter will be the match referee.
Ian Howell of South Africa and Nigel Llong of England will be the third and reserve umpires respectively of the match also to be played Saturday.
Appointments for Monday’s final in Johannesburg will be announced in due course.
