By KUNA,
Ramallah : The Palestinian resistance movement of Hamas on Saturday announced releasing 10 Fatah leaders in Gaza, including Ibrahim Abu Al-Naja.
Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zahri said the release came in response to local and Egyptian mediations.
Abu Zahri told reporters that Hamas called upon the Palestinian Authority to complete the process of releasing political prisoners in the West Bank, as well as halting political arrests and releasing political detainees.
Palestinian security in the West Bank, at the request of President Mahmoud Abbas, had released a number of Hamas leaders, who were arrested during the past few days.
