Manila : The absence of a peace accord between southern rebels and the government have increased tensions in Philippines and is rapidly growing violence that has been devastating the country since four decades ago.
The Supreme Court brought the signing of the Agreement to a halt, which was scheduled for this Tuesday in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, estimating that is necessary to verify its legality in respond to a demand from officials of Mindanao southern Island, opposed to the treatment.
