Construction worker lynched in Greater Noida

Greater Noida : A worker of a private construction firm was lynched while his colleague was beaten up allegedly by the staff of the firm on charges of theft here, the police said.

According to the police, Dharam Raj, a 24-year-old daily wage worker of Sterling and Wilson Company, and his co-worker Narendra were allegedly beaten up by their seniors after suspecting them of a theft.

Raj was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, the police said. On Narendra’s complaint, a case under section 304 IPC was registered at Surajpur police station.

Narendra has alleged that engineer Jeevesh and supervisors Guddu and Munna for the crime.
