Kuwait : The price index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) reached an all-new high of 13,701.6 points at closing on Sunday after gaining 16.3 points, while the weighted index lost 1.29 points to stand at 790.37.
Volume of traded shares came to 416.8 million shares worth KD 200.1 million, exchanged through 10,788 transactions.
Three indices out of eight were in the green today, with the service sector in the lead after gaining 198.2 points, followed by the investment sector with 39.5 points, and then the non-Kuwaitis with an up of 31 points.
The share of the Transport and Warehousing Group was today’s greatest gainer after increasing 7.6 percent, while that of Global Investment House was the greatest loser after shedding 5.1 percent.
In terms of volume of traded shares, Al-Safwa Group Co. ranked in first place with 37.9 million shares.
