Tehran : On the eve of 29th anniversary victory of the Islamic Revolution, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has granted amnesty or approved a reduction in the sentences of some 4,893 inmates.
The proposal to the effect was made by Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Shahroudi and the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution gave the assent.
