Islamabad : Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Justice ® Muhammad Farooq on Monday urged the polling staff to be more careful while counting ballots to ensure “not only free and fair but also credible elections in the country”.
The CEC was talking with the journalists after visiting a polling station established at F.G.Boys Higher Secondary School in Chak Shahzad.
He was told that out of 1400 registered votes in the polling station 400 votes have been cast. He was told that polling was proceeding in a smooth manner.
