Srinagar : Two paramilitary troopers were killed in Jammu and Kashmir when guerrillas ambushed a patrol party of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), the police here said.
The incident took place late Wednesday in Check Naira village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, about 35 km from here.
Two constables, identified as Manoj Kumar and Muhammad Rafiq, were critically injured and succumbed to their injuries in the hospital, an official said. A resident of the area, Mudasir Ahmad, was also wounded.
