Khalifa Nasser Al Suwaidi, chairman RCA, and Mohmoud Al Habbash, Palestinian minister of social affairs, signed the memorandum following a meeting here Wednesday.

The memorandum envisages launching of various development projects in the troubled Middle East region, which has been economically handicapped following the prolonged infighting and conflict with Israel.

During the meeting, the two officials discussed the humanitarian problems the Palestinians have been facing under the current situation.

Al Habbash hailed the humanitarian gestures of UAE President Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan towards the Palestinian people.

Al Suwaidi stressed that the memo would open the way for more cooperation, and boost partnership between the two sides.
