Basra : Iraqi police command in Babel province said on Saturday that the American Consulate in south west of Iraq was attacked by mortar shells by unknown armed men.
Armed men fired mortar shells targeting the Consulate in Hilla city where damage losses is still being assessed, a spokesman for the Iraqi police command said.
