New Delhi : The Delhi High Court Tuesday asked the city police to produce before it by Jan 11 the missing daughter of a lawyer.
An advocate, practising at the Delhi High Court, had approached the court seeking direction to the police to trace his daughter.
A division bench comprising Justices Vikramjit Sen and P.K. Bhasin also asked the police to file a status report in the case.
Appearing before the bench, the lawyer, who filed a habeas corpus petition, submitted that his daughter went missing Dec 7 last year and after 10 days he had received a ransom call.
He told the court that he suspected a couple in his daughter’s disappearance.
The court fixed Jan 11 as the next date of hearing.
