Nairobi : The President of the African Union and Chief of State of Ghana John Kufuor met here on Monday Kenyan Prime Minister Mwai Kibabi and the opposition leader Raila Odinga separately.
Kufuor is trying to mediate in the existing conflict of this eastern African country that has alredy killed 600 and displaced hundreds of thousands.
Kibaki promised the visitor that he will meet Odinga.
Previously, Kenyan President renewed his cabinet of ministers and appointed as Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka , who was third in December 27 general elections, but eliminated Odinga’s Orange Democratic Movement.
For that reason Odinga’s supporters took part in protests in this capital and in the western city of Kisumu.
