New Delhi : At least 25 people were killed and 60 others injured in a a road accident in Bangladesh Thursday.
The mishap occurred when two buses collided head-on at Rajendrapur, about 40 kms south of capital Dhaka, All India Radio (air) reported here quoting police sources.
The city Police official Arman confirmed the casualty figure and said 25 people died on the spot.
The injured passengers have been admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital and Mitford Hospital.
Witnesses said the death toll may go up as some injured passengers are in critical conditions.
