India three wickets away from Perth win

Perth : Australia, chasing 413 runs to win, were 243 for seven in their second innings at the tea break and still needed 170 for victory on the fourth day of the third Test against India here Saturday.

Australia, 2-0 ahead in the four-Test series, still have three wickets in hand, but with all mainline batsmen, except Michael Clarke, gone it will be a difficult task for them.

At the break, Clarke was batting on 73 and Mitchell Johnson was on one.

Australia had made 212 in their first innings while India scored 330 and 294 in their first and second innings respectively.
