Bhubaneswar : Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik Tuesday said his Biju Janata Dal (BJD), which has 11 Lok Sabha MPs, is opposed to the India-US nuclear deal.
“The country is passing through an unstable situation and if there is to be an election, we are ready to face it,” Patnaik told reporters here.
“We are against the government going ahead with the nuclear deal,” he said. The BJD and the Bharatiya Janata Party have a coalition government in the state.
