Drug squad investigators swooped on four properties, including a luxury mansion, in Melbourne, seizing a Mercedes Benz and a Harley-Davidson motorcycle and arresting four men.

The raids followed the seizure of high purity ice, with an estimated street value of 1.4 million Australian dollars (1.35 million U.S. dollars), in Wodonga last month.

Two of the men arrested on Wednesday were from Victoria and were alleged to have been the receivers and distributors of the killer drug which was imported from Sydney. The other two men are from Sydney and were arrested at Melbourne Airport Wednesday morning, according to Australian Associated Press report.

“We believe we have stopped a syndicate and the distribution of ice. We’ll be alleging that that ice has been distributed in Melbourne and sourced in Sydney,” Detective Inspector Doug Fryer said.
