Explosion in SW Pakistan wounds 11

Islamabad : At least 11 people, including para-military troopers, were wounded in an explosion in a small district of Southwestern Pakistani province of Baluchistan on Wednesday, said police.

A remote-controlled bomb, attached to a motorbike, exploded with a huge bang in Mastung district when a Frontier Core (FC) vehicle passed by, police sources told KUNA.

They said the suspected nationalist militants had parked the motorbike outside a small mosque and their target was FC vehicle.

Sources said that the explosion wounded at least 11 people, including five FC personnel, adding that three of the wounded were in critical condition.
