Jamshedpur, India : BJP alleged that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has tried to solve the disputes of corporate houses under pressure from UPA’s new partner Samajwadi Party.
BJP’s National Spokesman Ravishankar Prasad said on Wednesday, “Such approach of the Prime Minister was against the dignity of the post.”
Referring to the present political situation in view of the nuclear deal, Prasad said the UPA government will fail the trial of strength in the parliament on July 22.
On the issue of the nuclear deal, Prasad said BJP was in favour of good relationship with the US but not at the cost of country’s nuclear autonomy.
Justifying BJP’s stand on N-deal, Prasad said the country’s nuclear autonomy could not be compromised when political turmoil has been continuing in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh.
Prasad held Left parties equally responsible for the present political situation in the country.
