Mumbai : Private sector lender Bank of Rajasthan has announced a consolidated net profit of Rs.309.2 million for the first quarter of 2008-09 compared to Rs.301.7 million over the same period last year, a growth of 2.49 percent.
The earning per share (EPS) has gone up to Rs.2.30 during the quarter ended June 2008 from Rs.2.24 during the quarter June 2007.
The bank’s net non-performing assets (NPA) stood at Rs.316.7 million for the period under review against Rs.349.4 million of the year-ago period.
The interest income grew by 28.48 percent during the April-June quarter to Rs.3.19 billion compared to Rs.2.48 billion over the corresponding quarter last year. The CRAR (capital-to-risk-weighted assets ratio) stood at 12.26 percent against 11.90 percent.
