Riyadh : The Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC) has condemned Sunday’s attacks in the Turkish city of Istanbul, that resulted in the death and injury of many people, including civilians.
In a press briefing Monday, Secretary-General of the OIC Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu described the two explosions as cowardly terrorist behaviour carried out by the enemies of Islam.
He stressed that the international community should practise strict efforts at putting a stop to the actions of those responsible.
Ihsanoglu also expressed his heartfelt sympathy to the Turkish government, its people and families of the victims who lost their lives in the explosions that killed 17 people and injured more than 150.
