New Delhi : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) senior leader L.K. Advani Thursday called on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at his residence and discussed the country’s internal security in the wake of the serial bombings in Bangalore and Ahmedabad that killed over 50 people.
Advani, the BJP prime ministrial aspirant, also discussed the Amarnath land transfer row in Jammu that led to violent protests and shut-downs for over two months.
Sources said Home Minister Shivraj Patil and National Security Advisor M.K. Narayanan were present at the meeting at 7, Race Course Road. Advani was accompanied by BJP general secretary Arun Jaitley.
