Rasik Koda, who lives in Chaibasa district’s Patahatu village, in an interview to a newspaper Sunday said: “My son has to face lots of problems after he became the chief minister. The problems are not good for my son and he should quit the CM’s post.”

“My son has lost mental peace to run the coalition government,” said Rasik Koda, who has continued with farming.

To a query, he said: “I wanted my son to become an administrative officer so that he could live in peace”.

Rasik Koda does not like to stay in the chief minister’s official residence. “The CM’s official residence is like a jail for me,” he said.

Another minister’s father has a different desire for his bachelor son.

“I want my son (Jharkhand Health Minister Bhanu Pratap Sahi) to get married. I have solemnised the marriage of all my children. Now my only desire is to see the face of my daughter-in-law,” said Hemendra Pratap Sahi, father of Bhanu Pratap Sahi.

Hemendra Pratap Sahi is appreciative of the work his son has done.

“My son has done a tremendous job in the past one year,” he said.
