New Delhi: Only education can take the Muslim community to its zenith. And to achieve this end the concerned members of the community including religious and secular scholars will have to work in a planned and coordinated manner.
These views were expressed by the well-known Shiite scholar and the Principal of Jawwadiyyah Arabic College, Maulana Shameemul Hasan.
He was addressing the audience in the felicitation ceremony of eminent Iranian scholar, thinker and researcher Dr. Mohammad Raza Rajab Nizhad at New Delhi’s Hindi Bhawan.
He further pointed out that only the attainment of education will help eliminate the cultural, social and educational drawbacks of Muslims.
Stressing on the need to attach madrasas with modern sciences, Maulana Nazim Ali Khairabadi, expressed hope and happiness at the fact that these discussions on Dr. Nizhad’s research works will inspire the young students to undertake some noteworthy enterprise.
The other luminaries who spoke on the occasion emphasized the need of unity among Muslims, and good morals.
The felicitation ceremony was jointly held by Majlis-e-Uema-e-Hind, Idarah Tafheemul Islam and National Council of Shia.
