Patna: Emboldened with its success in getting Bhagalpur riot victims a central government compensation package, Muslim United Front recently launched a statewide campaign for implementation of recommendations by Sachar Committee and Ranganath Mishra Commission.
According to a press release issued by the Front’s president Mohammad Abu Qaisar, on 29th June, a 6-member delegation, led by Front’s general secretary Reyazuddin Ansari, has been sent on a visit to Araria, Katihar and Purnia. The delegation will try to make people aware of their rights and impress them to demand the implementation of these reports.
The organization will hold a dharna (sit-in) at Kargil Chowk near Gandhi Maidan in Patna on 6th July to mobilize support for the implementation.
Front’s president Abu Qaiser said that time had come for Muslims to understand themselves. Muslims are being divided in different castes and groups. Some political leaders are involved in this activity for the sake of power and position.
He said the Front is determined for betterment of the community and has declared “war” for implementation of the recommendations of these two committees.
He has appealed to Muslims to take part in the dharna and compel the government to implement the reports.
