Islamabad : Senior Vice President of PPP Syed Yusuf Raza Gillani has said the election of a woman Speaker would help to promote a soft image of the country worldwide.

Commenting over the election of Dr. Fehmida Mirza as Pakistan’s first-ever woman Speaker National Assembly, Gillani who has himself been remembered as ‘one of the best speakers country ever had’, said this election would help the country promote its soft image in the comity of nations.

When Gillani was congratulated for being tipped as next Prime Minister, Gillani said ‘he was receiving such felicitations sine he was young’.
