Paris : Unions of Secondary school students called for demonstrations in the big French cities to protest against the education reform announced by the government for the next academic year.
Students are against the withdrawal of 11,000 posts in this sector since 50 percent of people retired are not replaced, among other measures.
Demonstrators will meet in Luxemburg while big riots are expected in Lyon, Marseilles, Strasbourg, and Lyle.
In addition, after the March 18 demonstration, teachers also continue demanding their reivindications.
New teachers’ demonstrations are also announced for April 2 and the middle of May.
