Raj Menon, country manager of InterfaceFlor India, Friday said: “We are seeing a growing demand for carpet tiles in Tamil Nadu especially in cities like Chennai and Coimbatore with the burgeoning IT and IT Enabled Services (ITES) industry as also the manufacturing industry which has seen large companies setting up operations in Tamil Nadu recently.”

The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of the US based InterfaceFLOR. Though it commenced business in India in 2001, it set up its fully owned subsidiary at Bangalore in 2007.

In the last seven years, it has sold more than 1.5 million square metres of carpet tiles to over 200 major customers and is expecting a 30 percent growth, said Menon.
