Malaysian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Raees Yatim, said in a statement to the media, “The tape that shows Islam as a violent and radical religion, is not only deceiving, but also forms an obvious underestimation and offence to Islam and the feelings of Muslims all over the world.”

The minister added “If the Dutch deputy’s aim was to fulfill political benefits in his country, he clearly made a grave mistake that held him the responsibility of producing this film.” Malaysia calls on the Dutch government to take immediate procedures against this irresponsible production, Yatim said.

He said all efforts toward opening dialogue and means of understanding among nations of different religions and cultures will not be fruitful in the shadow of such actions, intended to spread lies and deception in the name of democracy.
