The move was instructed by UAE Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Emirates News Agency said.

Sheikh Mohammed, who is also the Ruler of Dubai, had asked the Dubai Cares Foundation to make the necessary preparation to enable the schools to be built so that children could continue with their education.

According to news reports, Saturday’s storm, packing winds of 190kmh, had turned Myanmar’s delta region into a submerged landscape with countless corpses left rotting in the heat.
