United Nations : “Outraged,” Secretary-General Ban Ki moon on Wednesday strongly condemned the series of bombings that took place in the Indian city of Jaipur yesterday and which claimed the lives of a large number of people and injured many more.
“He strongly condemns such terrorist attacks and sends his heartfelt sympathies to the Government of India and to the families of the victims,” his spokesman said.
Sixty people were reported killed and 200 injured as eight bombs exploded in the city of Jaipur, the capital of the northern Indian state of Rajasthan. The authorities suspect Islamic militants were behind the blasts.
