The Minister visited a number of Syrian workers who were beaten, offended and stabbed by sharp knifes without any justification along their way back to Syria.

She underlined President Bashar al-Assad’s care about their health conditions and standing by them during their ordeal.

“The Ministry will take legal and necessary actions to preserve and protect rights of Syrian workers inside and outside Homeland, and the affected and injured workers will raise a lawsuit to the Ministry of Justice to apply an agreement signed between Lebanon and Syria in this domain,” Hajj Aref said in a statement to SANA.

The workers, for their part, expressed thanks and appreciations for the leaderships’ care about the health conditions of the workers wherever they were.
