Lisbon : Residents of Torre de Montecorvo, in northern Portugal, ratified their solidarity with Cuba and demanded the release of the five anti-terrorist Cuban fighters held in US prisons.
At a meeting convened Thursday by the local Free The Five Committee, participants condemned the latest anti-Cuban actions carried out by the US government.
Committee leader Leandro Vale called on people present to multiply their support to the Cuban Revolution and their confidence in the Caribbean Island.
First Secretary of the Cuban Embassy in Portugal, Ivette Garcia Gonzalez, informed participants about recent denunciations by the Cuban government of US-sponsored subversive actions against the Island.
