Lucknow : A high alert has been sounded in Uttar Pradesh after a series of terrorist attacks rocked Mumbai late Wednesday evening, officials said.
Additional police force and para-military personnel have been deployed at all the landmark buildings of the important districts including Lucknow.
“We have deployed security forces near malls, hotels and other public places and rigorous vehicle checking is also being carried out in the entire state,” additional director general of police (crime, law and order) Brijlal told IANS by telephone.
