New Delhi : Secretary General of the Squash Rackets Federation of India, N Ramachandran has been elected as the President of World Squash Federation at the Annual General Meeting held at Manchester on Saturday.
Ramachandran, who is also the President of the Asian Squash Federation, will take over the charges from Jahangir Khan.
Delighted at the decision, Ramachandran said that this was a happy moment for him and his association and will strive to ensure that squash is included in the Olympics.
Another nominee, Chris Stahl of England, who withdrew from the post earlier, was later elected as vice president of WSF
