Ranchi, Oct 26 (IANS) Two Maoist guerrillas were arrested Sunday in Jharkhand’s Garwah district, the police said.
According to the police, the two Maoist rebels belonging to the outlawed Communist Party of India-Maoist were arrested on an intelligence input.
Both guerrillas were arrested from two places in Garwah district, which is around 140 km from here.
The police seized one pistol, three revolvers, including one country-made revolver, and Maoist literature.
The police have not disclosed their identity and the place of arrest.
Both Maoist rebels are being interrogated, they said.
Maoist rebels are active in 18 of the 24 districts of the state.
