Noida : Three men robbed an executive of a private company of Rs.170,000 at gunpoint in the washroom of a restaurant here, police said Saturday.
According to Superintendent of Police (Noida City) A.K. Tripathi, an executive with a private company Deepankar Mukharji withdrew Rs.100,000 from Axis bank at sector-18 here. He was carrying another Rs.70,000 with him.
After withdrawing money from the bank, Mukharji entered a Macdonald restaurant to have his lunch. Before ordering the meal, he went to the washroom and was followed by three men. According to the complaint, the men took away the bag containing the cash at gunpoint.
The police said that a case of robbery has been registered.
