Jamnagar (Gujarat) : Over 100 people were admitted to the hospital and 200 others given first aid after they ate food at a marriage function in a village in Gujarat Sunday, officials said.
The incident occurred around 5 p.m. Sunday in Jhankhar village, some 40 km from here.
There were about 1,000 guests present at the function.
“We admitted about 100 people to the hospital and gave first-aid to 200 others following diarrhea and vomiting. Two medical teams have rushed from Jamnagar,” said Jamnagar district health officer K.P. Patel.
