Dubai : The five-day Media Training Workshop conducted for Pakistani journalists concluded here on Friday.
The moot was held under the aegis of Mobilink Pakistan, the leading telecom company of the country. Dr. Aileen, a veteran American journalist, based here in Dubai for the past twelve years, conducted the training sessions.
She also shared her views over the global financial crunch.
She elaborated how the journalists community should play
their role in the volatile economic conditions.
Maha Obeid, a Lebanese journalists having worked in Australia, Lebanon, Dubai and Israel, also shared her experiences with the media delegation from Pakistan.
She highlighted how to perform under extreme media curbs and how to tackle such pressures from different circles.
The journalists also gave their presentations on electronic and print media models vis-a-vis financial crunch which has badly affected the economic growth around the globe.
Omar Manzur, Director Media, Mobilink, distributed souvenirs amongst the participating journalists on Friday.
Around 25 journalists from Islamabad, Karachi, Quetta and Lahore attended the training workshop.
