Ghaziabad : A complaint has been filed in the local court against the Delhi Public School (DPS) Ghaziabad for insulting the national flag by allegedly hoisting it upside down, a lawyer said Thursday.
Anil Agarwal, a resident of East Model Town here, claimed that he saw the national flag hoisted upside down at DPS Ghaziabad. He also claimed that when he complained to the principal of the school, she asked him to get out of the school and said that she had seen “several patriotic persons like you”.
Agarwal claimed that he then approached the Sihani Gate police station and requested them to register a case against the school and when they did not pay any heed he approached the court.
Agarwal requested the court to take legal action against the principal and the manager of the school.
Agarwal’s lawyer, Ajay Vir Singh said the court has recorded the statement of the complainant and adjourned the hearing till Feb 4.
