SDPI to hold first national delegates meeting in Delhi on Oct 18

Patna: Newly formed Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) is going to hold its first national delegates meeting at FICCI Auditorium in New Delhi on 18th October.

SDPI was launched in July 2009 in New Delhi. Just in three months it has set up its units in 16 states with about 1.5 lakh party cadres. The states where SDPI units have been formed include Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Manipur, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Puducherry, Bihar, Goa and Haryana.



Mr. E. Abubacker, President of SDPI, will preside over the meeting while party manifesto will be released by Syed Shahabuddin, former MP and diplomat.

Other prominent personalities who are expected to attend the meeting are Mr E. M. Abdul Rahiman, chairman, Popular Front of India, Maulana Abdullah Mughaisi, president, All India Milli Council, Dr Suresh Khairnar, convener, Dharm Nirpeksh Nagrik Munch, Dr Zafarul Islam Khan, president, All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat, Bhai Tej Singh, President, Ambedkar Samaj Party and K.M. Shareef, general secretary, Popular Front of India.
