PFI condemns attack on media by RSS; demands probe on RSS role in terror activities

By TCN News,

Bengaluru: The Popular Front of India condemned the attack on the head office of the Headlines Today news channel by the RSS last day. The organisation congratulated the channel for exposing the real face of the Sangh Parivar. It also reiterated its demand to the UPA government to start an investigation on all the activities of the RSS in India and abroad and to investigate all blast cases after 1993.

The involvement of the Sangh Parivar in terrorist cases is a known fact, but was always ignored by the media and the security agencies, said the press release. The involvement was known in the bomb blasts in Malegaon and Goa, the blast at the house of a RSS activist in Nanded and at the house of a Bajrang Dal activist in Kanpur and the pipe bomb blast in the RSS office in Tenkasi in TN. But these were not paid serious attention by the police.

The recent arrests of some RSS activists and the involvement of certain others in the Ajmer and Mecca Masjid blasts show clearly that the organisation is actively involved in planning terror attacks in the country. The clippings shown by the Headlines Today channel are clear evidence to understand the hidden agenda of the Sangh Parivar. Its wide network across the country makes the RSS a very serious internal security threat and hence should be dealt with strictly.

The PFI expressed concern that the government has not taken any concrete action to curb the saffron threat. It reiterated its demand to the UPA government in the centre to investigate all the activities of the RSS in the country and abroad. It also asked for a re-investigation of all blast cases since 1993.
