PFI to organise freedom parade in seven places in Kerala

Kozhikode: The Popular Front of India will organise Freedom Parade in seven places in the state this year, informed PFI Kerala general secretary P Abdul Hameed. The organisation has been holding the parade with the slogan ‘Be the sentinel of freedom’ since 2004.

The parade will be organised at Kottarakkara, Erattupetta, Aluva, Pattambi, Kuttiadi, Kondotty and Payyannur. Mr Hameed said that the parade aimed to create confidence, national thought and awareness about protecting freedom in people. President Nasarudheen Elamaram, Karamana Ashraf Moulvi, VT Iqramul Haq, KH Nasar and Muhammed Roshan spoke in the state committee where the announcement was made. The Freedom Parade was organised in Tamil nadu and Karnataka also in the last two years.
