Jammu: DIG Farooq Khan inaugurated Amarnath Yatra entry office for Amaranth pilgrimage at Lakhanpur and Kunjwani.
On this occasion he said that checking of the Amaranth pilgrimage is gong to be done here and there will be no traffic check-post from Lakhanpur onwards. All facilities will be provided by the police to the Amaranth pilgrimage.

Some of the areas for boarding-lodging in Jammu: Yatri Niwas Baghwati Nagar Hotel, Lodges in Jewel JP chowk area, Saraswati Dham, Vaishnavi Dham.
Eating place for yatres: Jewal, J.P chowk, Raghunath Bazar, Residency Road, Apsara Road, Gole Market.
Shopping Places for yatris: Raghunath Bazar, Government Emporium Vir Marg, Gole Market, Apsara Road, Qazikund main Bazar, Srinagar M A road, polo view Raj bagh, silk factory, Nishat bagh.

Amarnath yatra, an important pilgrimage for Hindus, this year will start from July 1st and last till August 24th.
